Umesh Kumar Potti is a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with over 14 years of relevant experience in the software industry. He is currently working at Compass, a leading technology company in the real estate industry. In his current role, Umesh is responsible for leading the software engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. Prior to joining Compass, Umesh worked at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer. During his time at Microsoft, he was involved in designing and proposing a solution for monitoring the health of Azure cores, which helped in proactively taking precautionary steps for business continuity. He also developed a feature that targets reducing the cost for customers for the existing backup solution, achieving savings as high as 30% with these changes.
